MAKING CONTENT ACCESSIBLE
What you’re looking at is a home page that features a menu, a photo of a woman appreciating an image with the aid of a headset, and at the top a logo which is a cartoon eye that incorporates three soundwaves similar to those in the Audio Description symbol.
Why am I telling you this? Because describing visual content is what I do.
I’ve been an audio describer for nearly 20 years, making all sorts of media accessible to people who are blind or have low vision.
If you need Audio Description scripts or voiceovers for your film, video, web content, print media or live event, you’ve come to the right place.
Let’s get started.
Audio Description for Film, TV and Web
Audio Description for Live Events
Speaking Events and Presentations
I love describing things. Being able to turn visual worlds into audible words is a joy as well as an occupation, and although I’ve been doing it for close to 20 years now, the scope for Audio Description just keeps widening and creating new opportunities for increasing access.
Being an independent audio describer, I’m not constrained by corporate affiliations, and I believe consumer consultation is key. I am a passionate advocate for the increased availability of Audio Description in Australia as well as being an industry provider.
Since Audio Description is still in its relative infancy in Australia, I’m also committed to furthering public awareness through presentations and speaking engagements.
